What to Do in Zurich in Fall

In fall, not only the leaves are colorful, but also the diversity of exciting activities on offer in Zurich. As well as hikes, culinary specialties and wines lure visitors into the wonderful region around Zurich. And even if occasionally the weather doesn’t play along, there are still plenty of fun things to do.

Often, the daytime temperatures in September are still pleasantly warm. That presents a perfect opportunity to take a walk up to Waid or to the top of the Uetliberg. Both locations offer spectacular sunsets over the city in fine weather.
