Monday Night Skate – on Inline Skates Through Zurich
On Monday evenings, the streets of Zurich belong to inline skaters during the “Monday Night Skate”.
During the summer months, the “Monday Night Skate” takes place every other Monday evening in Zurich. This event brings together up to 800 inline skaters who follow a set route through the city, which is closed off to traffic during this time. The event is also an ideal opportunity to relax while skating through Zurich without having to watch out for traffic.
The tours are generally 9-14 miles in length and last around 2 hours. Although the roads are closed to traffic, this event is only recommended for experienced inline skaters who are confident skating with a crowd of people.
