Day Trip to Mt. Stanserhorn With Cabrio Cable Car

A varied coach journey leads over the Albis Pass and along the shores of Lake Lucerne to Lucerne. A short city tour shows you the main attractions of this charming city, after which you have some leisure time to explore by yourself.

Next the tour continues to Stans, where you board the vintage funicular train and travel up to the valley station of the world´s very first cabriolet cable car. This double-decker cable car with an open upper deck is an absolute innovation in cableway technology.

Awaiting you at the summit is a magnificent view taking in 10 lakes, 
100km (62 miles) of mountain range, and three different countries. Here, participants can go on a short hike, observe marmots, or enjoy a light snack (not included).

The descent into the valley to Stans is followed by an approx. 30-minute train ride back to Lucerne. Here guests have some free time to spend as they wish, before the return journey to Zurich in the late afternoon.
