Longstreet

Formerly a strip club, today a hip-hop stronghold: the Longstreet was one of the first milieu locales to benefit from the efforts to upgrade Langstrasse.

It was largely left unchanged; just the prominent installation of hundreds of light bulbs has since characterized the appearance of the bar, with its dance floor on the upper floor. And, of course, the clientele has also changed: these days, the Longstreet is frequented by hip Zurich residents and party-goers.

Here, predominantly black music is played, and not just on weekends – thanks to its location directly on Langstrasse, it is almost inevitable that night owls stop off at Longstreet during a long party night in Zurich. And those who work up an appetite with all the dancing and celebrating do not need to go far to satisfy their hunger: the Palestine Grill directly next door serves delicious falafels.
