Bakery Museum – Swiss Museum of Confectionary, Confiserie and Baking
The Bakery Museum provides insight into the traditional Swiss baking craft, inside the walls of the old bakery.
In 1960, the joy of baking inspired Paul Wick to start collecting molds and equipment which he restored in his free time. Over the years, he collected many objects and items of equipment and began to exhibit them.
At the museum, you can view baking, pastry and candy-making tools, 100 different Easter rabbit molds, various gingerbread and "Tirgel" molds, equipment for harvesting grain and much more.
In addition, you will find original Dodge, Buick and De Dion Bouton vintage cars of up to 122 years old here – together with another 100 vintage models.
You can recharge your batteries at the Restaurant Bretzelstube after a visit to the museum as well.
