focusTerra – Earth & Science Discovery Center of the ETH Zurich
The focusTerra museum presents fascinating special exhibitions on the topic of the Earth and natural sciences.
How was the Earth formed? Why do volcanoes erupt? Where do precious stones come from? These and many more questions are answered at the focusTerra Earth & Science Discovery Center at the ETH Zurich.
The explanations are based on current research findings and are also suitable for children who want to learn more about our planet. The earthquake simulator is particularly spectacular for younger visitors; it is accessible during a public tour on Sunday between 11.00am and 16.00pm.
The exhibitions also offer visitors an insight into current topics of debate and various environmental issues.
