Technorama Winterthur – the Only Science Center in Switzerland

At the only science center in Switzerland, children and adults can experiment, touch, and try to their heart’s content – in line with the in-house philosophy of “hands-on learning”. Over 500 experiment stations provide an opportunity to discover natural phenomena at first hand.

Visitors can watch frost patterns form, investigate cyclones with a fire tornado, play the raindrop drums, or admire a cloud vortex. In addition, the “Mindscapes” exhibition reveals that none of our senses can be trusted.

In the “Technorama Outdoors” park, inquisitive minds can experience wind, sunlight, and hydropower up close. More than 30 outdoor attractions, including the impressive 130-meter-long Wonder Bridge and many fascinating water exhibits, invite visitors to explore from April to October.

The journey from Zurich to the Winterthur museum grounds takes just 30 minutes.
