Tips on sustainability related to modern-day living and answers to questions about energy and the environment – the Umwelt Arena in Spreitenbach is a great place to visit, particularly for families.

Housed in a futuristically designed building, the fascinating, interactive exhibits help visitors to experience and understand sustainability. The various areas of the Umwelt Arena show what impact our behavior has on the environment. How can we save resources? What technologies help us to save energy in our everyday lives? Why is it so important to separate and recycle trash?

Another exhibition explains how energy is generated from biomass, sunlight or wind, and how this is used in our daily lives. A particular highlight for children is the Energy Slide, which demonstrates in a playful manner how electricity is produced.
