The Erlengut – a Stately Home on Lake Zurich

The Erlengut dates from the year 1770. Rich textile entrepreneurs, as well as bankers and dentists once dwelled here. Two hundred years later the "Lords of the manor " era was over and the owners offered to sell parts of their stately home to the Erlenbach community.

1990 called for a single initiative, the total renovation of the Erlengut, with the aim of making versatile use of the building. Today, the romantic manor house on Lake Zurich is often used for weddings and banquets.
