Wägitalersee Lake

The circuit around the Wägitalersee lake is a pleasant, leisurely walk. The magnificent panorama more than compensates for the fact that the path is asphalted throughout. En route, walkers encounter the “Hundlochquelle” spring, resembling a grotto. It lies in a somewhat hidden location below the road and is a real natural gem.

With climbing boots and fishing rod

The Bockmattli mountain is known among climbing enthusiasts all over Switzerland due to its challenging vertical walls. The lakeshore meanwhile, is ideal for hikers, joggers, skaters, and bikers. During the warmer months, there is also plenty of activity on the water, when the lake is used for boating and fishing.
