Gasthaus Albisgütli

Those who love culinary classics such as Züri Gschnätzlets, calf’s liver or Tafelspitz are at the right address at the Gasthaus Albisgütli. Here, regional products are transformed into delectable dishes with a modern twist. In addition, international specialties regularly find their way onto the menu, which changes according to the season.

The legendary Albisgütli lies at the foot of the Uetliberg. Close to the edge of the forest and in an elevated position, its summer terrace is a particularly attractive place to stop and linger awhile.

Every child in Zurich is familiar with the Albisgütli; after all, the Schützenhaus is the venue of the annual “Knabenschiessen” event, a tradition-steeped rifle-shooting competition for children complete with a large fairground. Country fans, on the other hand, look forward to the international Country Music Festival, which is held here every spring. Lasting a number of weeks, it attracts stars from the country music scene to Zurich.

The large dining hall can accommodate up to 1,200 people and is therefore suitable for large-scale events, weddings, and company parties.
