Marktlücke
Those who shop at Marktlücke not only purchase unique handcrafted objects, but also support social workshops and small enterprises in Switzerland.
Marktlücke is a quaint little store in the middle of Zurich’s historical “Schipfe” quarter. In bygone times, small, flat-bottomed boats known as “Weidlinge” were pushed onto dry land here; nowadays, the narrow street is home to unique objects, beautiful accessories and treasures, all crafted by hand, often from recycled materials.
The store works closely with social workshops and supports small Swiss enterprises. Unemployed women also have the opportunity to become reintegrated into working life.
Whether exclusive gifts, home living objects, postcards, bags or unusual lamps, here you can browse, discover and help others all at the same time.
