Route Description
The tour begins with a spectacular gondola ride from Unterterzen up to Tannenbodenalp, where another cable car takes hikers up to the Maschgenkamm. The top station of the Maschgenkamm at 2,020m (6,627ft) above sea level is the departure point for this wonderful, safe hike along the ridge, which leads proficient hikers over the following seven peaks:
1. Ziger
2. Leist
3. Rainissalts
4. Gulmen
5. Cuncels
6. Chli Güslen
7. Gross Güslen
Particularly Recommended
Be sure to plan sufficient time on this longish hike so that you do not have to rush. If you would like to have a picnic on one of the peaks or simply stop and delight in the view, you should allow an extra 1–2 hours.
Catering Facilities En Route
Flumserberg is a popular hiking and skiing region, so there are plenty of places to eat here. However, there are none along the route; they are mostly located either at the beginning of the tour at Tannenbodenalp or towards the end at Seebenalp.
