Gliding with Schänis – Explore the Alps From the Air

Schänis airfield is the ideal site for a dreamy gliding excursion. Its location at the foot of the Swiss Alps offers imposing views of the mountains and surrounding lakes, even over a short route. Track records have already been broken from Schänis over distances of up to 808 miles and some pilots have even flown to Vienna or Marseille.

The gliding center is located on the Linth Plateau between Lake Zurich and the Walensee lake – and offers regular flights as well as courses and co-flying.
