Since we live outside the city, we experience it more intensely and appreciate all of its different sides. All three of us love exploring cities in general. That makes our weekly trips to Zurich feel like a city break.

Nicola is always looking for new subjects for her sketchbook, Jean-Marc is in search of sustainable food and crafts, and Sabine can often be found out on the water, paddle in hand.

A Typical Day Out

Every Saturday, Nicola goes skating at Sihlcity. Sabine and Jean-Marc take the opportunity to enjoy a leisurely breakfast at Hafen Enge, go for a stroll along the water, and take Nicola to Viadukt on a shopping trip later in the day. Since Jay-Jay joined the family, she’s widened the scope of our strolls to nearby neighborhoods – always in search of hidden gems. The whole family loves city life and its vibrancy – except, sometimes, the dog.
