A Typical Day Out

We get the bikes out of the basement, put our helmets on and head into the woods. Dad first, then the older kids, who like doing little jumps now and then, and prefer the narrow paths. We decide how long the trip will be on the spur of the moment, depending on the weather and how much time we have. And anyone who feels like it can do another loop.

Get Your Helmet and Your Gloves on

The Elefantenbach trail is our favorite route. Paying a visit to the elephant in the stream is a must. Once Ben has climbed up, we can carry on.

A Place for Puzzles

It takes just 30 minutes to get from the elephant to Adlisberg. The kids love using the information boards on the tower to see who can tell which mountain is which.

We like going in the mornings, when we can slalom-race in inline skates without disturbing anyone. And if it gets a little too fast, you can coast to a stop on the grass beside the track.
