The Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur enchants thousands of movie enthusiasts every year. At the heart of the festival are the International and Swiss Competitions, which put visitors at the pulse of current short film-making around the world.
In addition to the competitions, curated short film programs contextualize their themes against a wider background and encourage the discussion of political and social issues.
The Kurzfilmtage Winterthur is regarded as the most important short film festival in Switzerland and, in addition to first-rate short films, presents a varied supporting program featuring concerts, art, and parties.
