Art Museums in Zurich and the Region

Kunsthaus Zurich’s major modern art collection, the Löwenbräu Areal’s contemporary masterpieces and Museum Rietberg’s collection of non-European art – Zurich offers a wide range of museums that art lovers simply should not miss.
Many of the museums are dedicated to a very specific genre: the Musée Visionnaire, for example, is committed to Art Brut and the Museum Haus Konstruktiv is Switzerland’s leading institution for constructivist-concrete and conceptual art.
The greater Zurich region also offers many major museums to explore: Winterthur’s Center for Photography exhibits interesting photography from different eras and Museum Langmatt’s collection includes impressive pieces of classical modern art by artists such as Cezanne and Monet.
